XL Furniture is worth the trip. Colleen and Al are wonderful owners. Family owned business. You are never rushed or feel pressured. We have our purchased 4 chairs over about 5 years. Never disappointed. Recommended to neighbours, family and friends. All purchased and all are very pleased.

Service excellence for the long term! My elderly parents bought a rocker recliner chair a year ago and had a swivel base installed then. Now they moved and wanted to change back to the original non swivel base. XL gave me hardware to restore to original base with no hassle. Highly recommend this business - always polite, pleasant and honest. Thank you Al, Colleen and crew!

It was actually a pleasure to purchase a recliner chair from the professionals at XL. The price is the price. No GST added on - and includes delivery to Sherwood Park as well. The two fellows who delivered the chair were very courteous and called about 20 minutes before their arrival. They paid careful attention to not scuffling the door jambs and removed their footwear coming in. I would highly recommend XL to anyone looking for quality furniture.

Three months ago I ordered a sofa and matching chair from XL Furniture. The staff (Sal, Colleen and Al) carefully listened to my preferences and then guided me through the process of making my choice. All of them were patient, knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful. At XL Furniture no GST is added to the price, delivery is free, and there is no charge to take away your old furniture. My sofa and chair arrived two weeks ago and I am very satisfied. So if you want high quality furniture and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend XL Furniture.

The services and products XL provided were absolutely amazing. They are a local store and all of our purchases are Canadian made. We purchased a new couch, love seat, coffee table and two end tables. Our sales person was JT and he was very professional, helpful and took into consideration what we were looking for when he showed us different products. It was also good to know the prices was all inclusive of GST and delivery. The delivery people were very courtesy. They also took away our old furniture to be donated which means it didn’t go into the landfill. I definitely recommend anyone looking for furniture check out XL before making your purchase.

Went to XL furniture to look at a glider chair for our nursery. The customer service was top notch and the amount of gliders and fabrics to choose from was more than I was expecting. Sal took me through all the features of each chair and then was able to pick out a fabric I liked once I picked the chair. I went with the Elran chair. They delivered and set up the chair right in the nursery. The delivery staff were very professional and even went over all the features of the chair again. If you are looking for any type of furniture include this place in your stops. They had lots to offer and spent the time with me to make sure I’m picking out something I am going to love for a long time. Can’t recommend XL Furniture enough.

Fantastic in store experience. Sal showed me many reclining chair options and left me alone a few times to test out chairs. Free delivery was next day and both delivery guys were super friendly and extremely careful. Highly recommend this family owned business that’s been around for 73 years. Ditch the big box stores and enjoy some good old days customer service!

The staff was great, they leave you alone when you ask them to but are available and knowledgeable when you need them. Accommodating and friendly, they have an amazing warranty, great delivery, and no extra fees. The furniture is good quality and made in Canada which was important for us. The furniture even came in when it was scheduled and we ordered right before Christmas. Overall it was a great shopping experience with no down side.

We recently purchased a reclining sofa love seat set and a sectional set, plus accent tables and chair as well as a great piece of wall art. Absolutely amazing ‘customer first’ company. Our total experience was first rate starting with the extremely knowledgeable Colleen in helping us decide on what to purchase, top notch delivery team who came back after hours twice, and Al who completely disassembled one piece, reconstructed, and reupholstered it in our basement after we discovered that it would not fit down the stairwell in one piece. UNBELIEVABLE customer service, like we have never seen anywhere before. Would not hesitate to recommend XL to anyone looking for new furniture.

Got this nice nightstand. Looking around the store, the quality of all there pieces made me second guess just going to the "mainstream furniture store". I am 100% coming back to this place for a new bed with a frame in the next few months!! Anyone looking for great/quality furniture items please come here!! I can’t wait to go back :).

This is the best place to get your furniture at. These owners and staff care. We had to access our warranty and it was no problem. Couch came back perfect!

The service in the store to the delivery people was excellent. The price on the tag was what you pay for delivery, set up and taking the unwanted piece away.
